Newborn Session | Clarksville Family Photographer | Welcome to the World Adelaide Beth

On October 16th, 2019 Aaron, Jameson, and my life changed forever (again). Our sweet baby girl, Adelaide Beth, entered the world at 2:40 am weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and measuring 19.5 inches long. With both of our children we have opted not to find out the baby's gender while we were pregnant, making the arrival of our newest little even more exciting. When Addie was born, Aaron said the four words I didn't expect to hear. "We have a daughter!" For a good bit of my pregnancy with Addie I thought she would be a boy. I basically considered she might be a girl for the first 10 weeks and the last 3 weeks of my entire pregnancy. Aaron, however, was certain this pregnancy would result in another son because it had gone just as smoothly as my pregnancy with Jameson. To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. I am pretty sure my first thought when Aaron told me we had a daughter was "are you sure?"

I love being a boy mom with my loud, energetic, rough and tumble boy, but I didn't realize just how much I would adore having a baby girl. Addie is the most mellow baby. She eats well, sleeps well, and hardly ever cries. She is happy just being a part of the family and along for the ride with her big brother.

Our tiny little miss, Addie. I pray for you every single day, sweet girl. I pray for the baby you are, the little girl you will grow into, and the woman you will all too soon become. You can do anything you could ever dream of in this world. Believe in yourself, but also believe in others. Your daddy and I love you more than you could ever know and while we wish we could keep you little forever, we know God has great things in store for your life and we are excited to see how He uses you.
